I know I’ve been a bit slow with this, and I’m sorry, but better late than never…..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Another year over, a new one just begun as dear old John never tires of telling us.

I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and is now embarking on a happy and prosperous New Year.

My Christmas was very pleasant – too much to eat, too much to drink, too much lazing around! Much the same as every Christmas - I wouldn't have it any other way. Of course, my Christmas Cheer  would have been immeasurab…

After the first leg of the competition we have a tightly bunched group at the head of things with another large group sat in behind. With literally everything to play for we move into Day 2.

A quick note about the abandonment of Leg 3 at the Welsh national tomorrow. The meeting has been rescheduled for the 5th January and I think we will just wait until then to complete the competition - I know quite a few entrants have done a lot of work on the race and it would be a shame to let that go to wast…

With the weekend upon us and Christmas breathing down its neck, I thought now would be an opportune moment to thank everybody for indulging me and my little blog over the last 12 months. I’ve enjoyed writing it immensely and if you’ve enjoyed reading it even a quarter as much, we’ve done OK.

I must be getting old.

I know that the set up and general attitude at the Henderson yard is not everybody’s cup of tea and, judging from reports I’ve heard, I’m not sure I’d fancy being one of the smaller owners at the yard.
