Not A Bad Run….

Last week I told you about my little piece of a filly called Obvious

Well, she ran last week and finished 8th of 13. Not all that promising you might think but a closer look at the race might indicate some hope for the filly.

She raced in third for most of the race tucked in behind the leaders before being asked for an effort in the last couple of furlongs. She picked up quite well, actually hitting the front about a furlong from home before running out of steam.

It would seem that a mile is a touch too far for her but she may well have the speed to pop up in something over a shorter distance. Only time will tell but I have not given up all hope just yet!

On to more exciting matters…

Over the next few days I will be writing a piece on The Psychology of Betting.

This has been prompted by a recent run in which I gave back about 2 months worth of profits before recovering.  I personally believe that mastering your emotions is the most important skill you can learn if you want to bet for a living.

I will also be adding a review to the reviews page which will point you towards the single most profitable betting method I have found in the last few years – this method alone has added £40,000 to my bottom line over the last 2 years. This from an ebook that costs less than £100! One of my better investments I would say!

That’s all for now folks but don’t forget to sign up for my updates in the box to the right 🙂
