  1. I have several bookmakers accounts and they are all losing accounts – I regularly get offered free bets and other bonuses to refill their coffers. Yet I am making money perhaps not the mega bucks of some pro bettors, but through 1 simple risk free “withdrawal” method I get my cash into exchanges such as WBX and BetDAQ which don’t have the same attitude as Betfair to winners.

    1. Hi Ben

      Thanks for your comment.

I have used a similar method myself in the past and it can work very well. However, it can be fraught with danger – when your lay off selection wins! Definitely a weapon to have in your armoury though.

  2. whats all this about betfair? i thought it made no difference to betfair if you won or lost. are you saying that this is not the case? i wouldnt know as i,ve always lost whether i back with the bookies or betfair, but it is always nice to know where the best places are to place a bet and expect to pull out your winnings on a consistent basis (if ever i could get to that stage)

    1. Hi Huw

Unfortunately, Betfair are not what they once were. There are a couple of levels of premium charges for winning punters. The worst one is the 60% charge on all winnings over 250k over the lifetime of the account. Scandalous but true.

      1. Hi Stuart

        Thanks for your comment.

The tote is an option under some circumstances but you are having to beat quite a large deduction from the pool there.
The other disadvantage is that you don’t know what price you are going to get – if there is a flood of money for your selection you may well lose all value.
I do use it on occasions though. Really not sure how it’s going to fare under the auspices of the strangely leprechaun like Fred Done.

  3. Hi Kieran,
Wouldn’t the Tote be another option. I know the win bet prices can be a bit skimpy but as all monies go into the pool. the Tote then deducts its expenses, then the winning bets payed out. The Tote should have no reason to refuse bets as they get their money whatever happens, or is this another fairytale.

  4. Hi Kieran

Thanks for the reply. Have only used the Tote for place only bets and though i have taken an average of 50 pts profit a month from them over the last 9 months i’ve had no problems with getting money down, but as you say under the leprechaun who knows if this will continue.
Have just checked my new win system i started on 29/10 and for the first 13 days the the system made 126 pts profit at SP and checking the Tote would have made 137 pts.
Lowest loss on SP was 2.5 pts on a 11/1 winner and biggest increase on SP was 17.4 pts on SP of 20/1. So will check again over the 2 months will paper trade system and see if any difference. This cannot continue Sods Law has gotta strike soon.

    Cheers Stu
