A Sumptuous Summer of Sporting Spectaculars
It's been quite some time since I managed to put a post up on here. Particularly one with such a lovely alliterative title!
For that, you have my apologies. I've been buried neck deep in work with the launch of my Evening Value Service and I have neglected this blog scandalously. I won't do it again - I promise. In fact, I've got some exciting new stuff on it's way for the blog which I'll tell you about later in the week.
Actually very glad to have that launch out of the way - I'm not a natural salesman (as I'm sure you could tell if you followed the launch at all!) and I'm very glad to be getting back to the things I enjoy in life - like making money from my betting and posting my thoughts on this here blog!
We really do have a sumptuous summer of sporting spectaculars ahead of us - starting with Euro 2012 this Friday.
I don't do a huge amount of football betting anymore - I mostly confine it to trading nowadays although it has been a decent source of profits in the past.
However, with my main focus being horse racing - less and less time has been available for putting in the effort needed to make the football betting pay.
To my out of touch eye, the outright winner prices look about right though I have a sneaking fancy for Poland to do well as one of the home nations.
As I don't fully trust my own judgement/knowledge on football any more, I was hunting around for expert opinion and I've managed to locate a very decent free Euro 2012 analysis and tips report:
Secret Betting Club Euro 2012 Tips
Included in the report is a wealth of information including some very often overlooked angles for turning a profit in these type of tournaments plus interviews and analysis from 7 of the top football tipsters in the business.
As regular readers will know, I'm a big fan of Secret betting Club (It's one of the few betting services I actually pay money to be a member of!) You can read my review of their service here.

During my enforced absence from the blog, an awful lot of fantastic flat racing has come and gone (including most of the classics). I think we've seen a very special horse indeed in Camelot. While it may not have been a particularly strong Derby field, the way he went away from them was different class.
Who knows if he will go for the St Leger and become the first horse since Nijinsky to win the triple crown but I think he's a shoo in if he does appear. We shall see , though I think there is a big question mark over his taking part - I don't think I'll be taking any of the 1/2 currently available about him!

On a rather more mundane note, I really like the look of Marco Botti's jet Acclaim in the 8.00 at Kempton tonight. Looks like an each way bet to nothing to me at 6/1 generally.

Right, I'm off to have a few quid each way on Poland to win the Euros at 50/1!
Have a great day and I'll be back later in the week.
